Do you retrieve medical records nationwide?
Yes, in all 50 states. InQuery researches each provider's records department and requirements, submits requests with your client's HIPAA authorization, and follows up until records arrive. Records come back sorted, indexed, and deduplicated, with a list of anything still missing.
How fast is the turnaround?
Retrieval typically takes 10 to 14 days, depending on the provider; that is an estimate, not a guarantee. InQuery tracks every outstanding request and follows up, so your staff isn't working the phones. Once records are in hand, files uploaded by 4 PM are processed overnight and returned indexed, tagged, and summarized by 9 AM the next business day.
What does record retrieval cost?
$20 per request for a limited time, as an introductory price. Our standard price is $40 per request, the same for every record type and provider. A request is one set of records from one facility, so a facility's medical records and its bills count as two requests. A case usually needs 2 to 10 requests.
Do we have to switch case management software?
No. InQuery is not practice management software and does not replace your existing systems. Deliverables arrive as organized files and exports that drop into whatever your firm already uses, so there is no migration, no retraining, and no disruption to open cases.
